Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain food safety policies, procedures, and protocols in accordance with local regulations and international standards.
Conduct regular inspections and audits of food handling and preparation areas, including kitchens, storage facilities, and dining areas, to identify potential hazards.
Monitor and evaluate food handling practices, including hygiene, sanitation, temperature control, and cross-contamination prevention, and provide training and guidance to staff as needed.
Investigate food safety incidents, complaints, and outbreaks, and implement corrective actions and preventive measures to mitigate risks and prevent recurrence.
Maintain accurate records and documentation related to food safety activities, including inspection reports, training records, and incident logs.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in food science, nutrition, microbiology, or a related field.
Certification in food safety management (e.g., HACCP, ISO 22000) preferred.
Proven experience in food safety, quality assurance, or a related role, preferably in the food industry.
Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices.
Excellent communication, training, and interpersonal skills.
