- Database Administrator for onsite project requirements.
B. Accountabilities:
- Database Management Systems: Strong knowledge and experience in administering and managing Microsoft SQL Server
- Microsoft SQL Server: Proficiency in installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security management, and high availability features of SQL Server
- SQL and Query Optimization: Proficiency in SQL is crucial for database administration. strong understanding of writing complex SQL queries, optimizing query performance, and ensuring efficient data retrieval.
- Database Security: Knowledge of database security principles and best practices, including user access management, authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
- Backup and Recovery: Experience in implementing and maintaining database backup and recovery strategies to ensure data integrity and minimize downtime in case of system failures or disasters.
- Performance Tuning: Expertise in monitoring and optimizing database performance using tools, techniques, and best practices to ensure optimal system response times and efficient resource utilization.
- Troubleshooting: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve database-related issues, such as performance bottlenecks, data corruption, and system errors.
