Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Front Desk Operations:
- Greet guests with a warm and friendly demeanor, providing a positive first impression.
- Handle check-ins and check-outs efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and payment processing.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.
- Assist guests with special requests, such as room upgrades, transportation arrangements, or restaurant reservations.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the front desk area.
- Housekeeping:
- Clean and prepare guest rooms to the highest standards, ensuring cleanliness, tidiness, and proper sanitation.
- Change bed linens, replenish amenities, and restock supplies as needed.
- Attend to guests’ requests for additional toiletries, towels, or housekeeping services promptly.
- Report any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate department for timely resolution.
- Maintain laundry and storage areas in a clean and organized manner.
- Food and Beverage Service:
- Assist in the operation of the hotel’s restaurant, bar, or room service, as required.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and deliver orders in a timely fashion.
- Ensure tables and dining areas are clean and properly set up.
- Provide attentive and friendly service, addressing any guest concerns or inquiries.
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of banquet or conference rooms for events.
- General Guest Assistance:
- Provide exceptional customer service, promptly addressing guest inquiries, complaints, or issues.
- Assist guests with luggage handling and transportation arrangements.
- Offer recommendations and information about local attractions, restaurants, and events.
- Ensure the safety and security of guests by following established procedures and protocols.
- Handle cash transactions, maintain accurate records, and reconcile daily sales.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in hospitality or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in the hotel industry or customer service role is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and colleagues.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- Proficiency in using computer systems, including reservation software and Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends, evenings, and holidays, as per the hotel’s schedule.
