Role and Key Duties:
- Maintain effective file management systems and internal quality assurance procedures in line with the administrative systems, procedures and policies adopted by the firm
- Assist senior lawyers in conducting legal research on a wide range of legal subjects and contribute to articulating legal documents
- Assist senior lawyers in preparing cases for presentation and drafting hearing documents and legal arguments
- Track ongoing cases progress and obtain timely updates from lawyers
- Communicate with clients, if and when tasked by the management
- Provide relevant legal advice within designated areas of practice, when needed
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management
- Communicate with colleagues and other firm departments, as needed
- Produce regular reports for submission to line management
