Responsibilities:

  1. Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and assembling dishes.
  2. Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils according to established sanitation standards.
  3. Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils by hand or using dishwashers.
  4. Organize and stock kitchen inventory, including food, ingredients, and cleaning supplies.
  5. Dispose of waste and recycling in designated areas, ensuring proper separation and disposal procedures are followed.
  6. Assist chefs and cooks with various tasks as needed, such as fetching ingredients, garnishing dishes, and plating food.
  7. Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to minimize the risk of contamination and ensure food quality.
  8. Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen workspace, including sweeping and mopping floors, and emptying trash receptacles.
  9. Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines at all times.
  10. Collaborate with other kitchen staff members to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
