Job Summary

To provide legal consultation on documentation for the Bank, assist in various administrative tasks for the legal department, manage budget spreadsheets and general filing for the legal documentation team

Key Accountabilities

  • Litigation only: Prepare legal litigation and prosecution documents and reports according to defined formats and language to ensure that they are admissible in court.
  • Create, modify and draft letters, meeting minutes, memos, charts, tables, graphs and other correspondence to support with the documentation and presentation of findings and facts required by the team to undertake the litigation investigative activities.

Other Accountabilities

  • Protect the interests of CBQ where possible.
  • Assist in drafting change orders to address contract variances and alterations in order to secure efficient legal and financial protection of CBQ’s interests.
  • Litigation only: Assist with the preparation of legal defence memoranda for legal suits and litigations in courts and with judicial authorities to protect the interests of CBQ.
