- Analyze and configure the basic structural components of a building or other structure for ensuring the quality of
- design.
- Review the design criteria (basic structural components, geotechnical properties, wind loads, seismic loads, loads, fire
- protection) and ensure adequacy of design.
- Analyze the structural elements to ensure the quality of the design.
- Analyze and reviews the loading plan and ensure compliance with codes and the project operational purpose.
- Determine the pressures that each component, such as a beam or lintel, will experience from other parts of the structure
- due to human use or environmental pressures such as weather or earthquakes.
- Study the impact of the temporary works (formwork, tower cranes foundations and supports) on the structural elements,
- provide calculations, details and ensure compliance.
- Liaise with designers, including architects, to agree on safe designs and their fit with the aesthetic concept of the
- construction of the proposed project.
- Provide safe structural solutions to suite the architectural and MEP requirements.
