Functional Responsibilities

Purpose and Scope of Assignment

1. Application Development:
   1. Develop and maintain an online application using Laravel for the back end and Vue.js/React for the front-end.
   2. Ensure all new code is scalable, maintainable, and adheres to best coding practices.

2. Graphical Reporting:
    1. Design and implement functionality for generating dynamic graphical reports.
    2. Integrate data visualization tools such as Chart.js, D3.js, or Google Charts to create interactive charts, graphs, and dashboards.

3. API Integration:
   1. Develop capabilities to integrate with external applications via APIs.
   2. Handle various API authentication and data exchange formats (like JSON or XML) to ensure secure and robust data integration.

4. Security and Authentication:
    1. Develop secure mechanisms for user authentication and authorization to ensure data integrity and security throughout the           application.

5. UI/UX Design:
   1. Create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces to enhance user engagement.
   2. Facilitate easy navigation, especially for interacting with graphical reports.
   3. Ensure the application is responsive, optimizing the interface to function seamlessly across various screen types including desktops,  tablets, and mobiles.

6. Testing and Optimization:
   1. Test the application across various browsers to ensure consistent functionality and user experience.
   2. Optimize application performance for speed and efficiency, especially when processing and displaying complex data visualizations.

7. Maintenance and Updates:
    1.Regularly update the application to fix bugs and troubleshoot performance issues.

•Contract type: ICA
•Contract level: Local ICA Specialist – level 9
•Contract duration: Ongoing ICA – ‘Open-ended, subject to organizational requirements, availability of funds and satisfactory performance.
