Retail General Manager – Aswag Alsarhan Co.

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail General Manager to join our team in Kuwait. As a Retail General Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of our retail store. You will be responsible for ensuring that the store meets its sales targets, provides excellent customer service, and maintains high standards of visual merchandising.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and achieve store targets
2. Manage the day-to-day operations of the store, including inventory management, cash handling, and staff scheduling
3. Train, mentor, and motivate the store team to deliver exceptional customer service and achieve sales goals
4. Ensure the store is well-stocked, organized, and visually appealing at all times
5. Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
6. Monitor and control expenses to optimize store profitability
7. Oversee the recruitment and training of new employees
8. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as local regulations
9. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers
10. Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices

Preferred Candidate:

1. Proven experience as a Retail General Manager or similar role
2. Strong leadership abilities with the ability to inspire and motivate a team
3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
6. Knowledge of retail operations, visual merchandising, and inventory management
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
8. Experience with point-of-sale systems
9. Knowledge of local market trends and consumer preferences
10. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality customer service
