Tetra Tech International Development (International Development Jobs – Tetra Tech) is currently accepting expressions of interest from qualified candidates for various short-term expert positions on an anticipated five-year USAID-funded Amman Urban Resilience Activity (AURA) in Jordan.
Project/Position Description:
The goal of this project is to improve urban resilience to climate change and decarbonization in the municipality of Amman, Jordan. Activities under AURA will focus will (1) improve data-driven policymaking and planning, and promote behavior change for urban resilience and decarbonization, (2) improve finance mobilization for urban resilience and decarbonization projects, and (3) increase implementation of priority urban resilience and decarbonization projects. A project office would be located in Amman, and possession of or ability to obtain a local work permit will be required for all project staff based in Jordan.
