DESCRIPTION
The Saudi Arabia Marketplace team at Amazon is looking for a talented, customer-obsessed and results-oriented Category Merchant Manager in the Softlines business (Apparel, Shoes, Watches, Luggage, Jewelry) to help shape the future of our marketplace.
The Category Merchant Manager will support the growth of Softlines product categories and drive initiatives to increase traffic and revenues. You will perform complex business analyses and reporting and be involved in projects that contribute to expand product selection and Marketplace to build best-in-class customer experiences.
The Category Merchant Manager will have several key responsibilities including:
– Helping identify categories growth opportunities and contribute to scalable initiatives that support this growth at Saudi Arabia level
– Issuing recommendations to improve customer and seller experience and create new or enhanced experiences
– Working closely with Leadership on annual and quarterly strategic planning as well as other periodic reports
– Working with Category leads and drive the team to scale and achieve the business goals on a weekly and monthly basis
– Working with cross-functional teams to drive business efficiencies
The successful candidate must be able to find creative solutions in an ambiguous environment, must strive in formulating and solving problems, and act as the voice of customers and sellers. You should be passionate about Amazon categories and delivering new features that provide customers with an unparalleled shopping experience. You should be highly analytical and able to summarize data to make recommendations.
