To ensure the well-being and continuous improvement of Institute functions, staff, and trainees by carrying out all duties and responsibilities assigned by Chairman and Board. To identify The Training Unit challenges and opportunities and addresses them to all concerned parties to enable better decision-making.
AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY:
1. Oversees and manage the Training Unit qualifications & programs including delivery, research, advisory services and operational activities with implemented industries best practice.
2. Responsible for the maintenance of business continuity in the Training Unit and ensure policies & procedures implemented and followed.
3. Assures a working environment that secures, retains and supports quality staff & Trainees.
4. Acts as an advocate, within the public and private sectors, for issues relevant to the Training Unit and increase the positive’s awareness to the public to understand Institute values, mission, and vision.
5. Plan, develop, manage and implement program or activity related to Trainees.
6. Assumes administrative authority over all executives and other staff in the Training Unit
7. Has the authority to manage all the work of the Training Unit and its financial affairs, assets, liabilities, resources and activities, and submits periodic reports on all the above to the Board of Trustees.
8. Prepares the draft budget and final account of the Training Unit and submits it to the Board of Trustees for approval.
9. Proposes the regulations, and executive decisions related to the workflow in the Training Unit, and submits them to the Board of Trustees for discussion and ratification.
10. Prepares for the meetings of the Board of Directors, prepares its schedule as well as the required clarifications of the items, manages correspondence and maintains records.
11. Implements the decisions of the Board of Directors and follows up the implementation of the items that need to act.
12. Suggests cooperation agreements between the Unit and operators with long experience in developing the training process in the Training Unit.
