Legal Researcher | Legal Assistant

We are seeking a talented and motivated to join our dynamic legal team in Abu Dhabi as a Legal Researcher and Lawyer System Specialist. This is an exciting opportunity for a recent graduate or legal professional with experience in a law firm environment to develop your research and legal technology skills.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and interpret statutes, regulations, case law, and legal opinions to provide insightful and well-organized summaries and reports for attorneys and legal teams.
- Perform exhaustive legal research by utilizing diverse online databases, libraries, and reputable sources to compile relevant data and precedent cases concerning specific legal matters.
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in relevant legal fields and relay pertinent updates to the legal team for effective case management and strategy adaptation.
- Document research findings, references, and sources with precision, ensuring the credibility and traceability of all legal research conducted within the organization.
- Stay informed about recent changes in relevant legal spheres and communicate timely updates to the legal team for proactive case management.
- Cooperate closely with attorneys and other legal experts, contributing to the enhancement of legal arguments and preparations for court proceedings.
- Examine and decipher statutes, regulations, case law, and legal opinions, preparing articulate and comprehensive summaries and reports for use by the legal department.
- Conduct thorough legal research on various legal issues, regulations, and case law relevant to UAE law.
- Prepare comprehensive legal memoranda and reports to support lawyers.
- Maintain and update the firm’s legal research database and electronic filing systems.
- Assist lawyers with case preparation and legal document management.
- Stay current on legal developments in the UAE.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Law or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in a legal research role (highly preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent research, writing, and communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proficient in legal research databases and case management software.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
