What we are looking for

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Vice President of Digital Technology to lead our digital initiatives and drive innovation across our organization. Reporting to the Chief Data & Technology Officer, the ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in ecommerce web and mobile development, with extensive knowledge of Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Martech platforms.

We are looking for someone that possesses strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage large teams and collaborate effectively with C-level executives.

What you’ll be doing  

  • Lead the development and execution of digital technology strategies to drive business growth and enhance customer experience
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of ecommerce and mobile website platforms, ensuring optimal performance and usability.
  • Manage and optimize Martech platforms, including CRM marketing tools, loyalty programs, and customer care systems.
  • Track and help the business functions improve key performance indicators (KPIs) related to customer acquisition and retention, such as conversion rates, customer lifetime value, and churn rates.
  • Drive data and analytics initiatives to derive digital insights, leveraging customer data to inform decision-making and enhance customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Chief Omnichannel officer to drive omnichannel initiatives to create seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including the Chief Omnichannel Officer, product managers, and ecommerce directors, to define strategies and deliver technology elements.
  • Build and lead a high-performing digital technology team, consisting of onshore and offshore resources.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the digital technology organization.
  • Enhance our Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies to increase speed to market and adaptability to changing business requirements.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leadership, providing insights and recommendations on digital trends and best practices.

What you’ll need to succeed  

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in digital technology leadership roles, with a focus on ecommerce and mobile website development.
  • Proven experience working with Salesforce Commerce Cloud and other ecommerce platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge of Martech platforms, including CRM marketing tools, loyalty programs, and customer care systems.
  • Strong understanding of customer KPIs and metrics, with the ability to analyze data and drive insights.
  • Experience managing large teams of 50+ resources, including both onshore and offshore teams.
  • Proficiency in Agile and SAFe Agile methodologies, with a track record of successfully implementing these practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with a demonstrated ability to solve complex problems and drive business results.
  • Experience in developing and mentoring talent, with a focus on building high-performing teams.
  • Experience in Retail, ideally fashion and Beauty in the luxury context.
  • Experience in composable commerce advantageous.
