What you’ll be doing  

We are looking for a Head of Brand who will be overseeing a 3 axis portfolio of brands that include: Killian, Frederic Malle, Tom Ford, La Mer, Ordinary, and Bobbi Brown. You will be responsible for the Retail, Distribution, E-Commerce and E-tailer business for all brands. You will be responsible for designing and implementing the overall strategy, and then cascading and cooperating with the local markets to empower them to drive their own Go To Market strategy in line with the brands. You will be expected to identify new opportunities while ensuring alignment with concerned stakeholders (General Manager / Vice President, Finance). You will empower concerned teams and partners (local markets) to achieve their objectives and goals whilst creating a sense of ownership through an attitude of collaboration and cooperation with different stakeholders and the right steering of the human manpower towards a balanced outcome. Other responsibilities will include:

  • Set a regional brand strategy in line with brands and group direction.
  • Set the commercial / financial structure of the portfolio for the year 3 and 5 years to come.
  • Set the needed structure / manpower needed to achieve the above plans.
  • Ensure upstream brands are aligned and follow through the proposed plan
  • Driving the discussions on Go To Market strategies of the local market and create a space of collaboration and cooperation.
  • Manage the P&L of the brands and ensure alignment with proposed targets.
  • Drive a data driven discussion with brands and markets to ensure best in class consumer outcomes.
  • Negotiate alongside brands, the required support to ensure delivering goals and results.
  • Ensure a clear communication and cooperation between all stakeholders.
  • Organize and lead financial P&L discussion internally and externally.
  • Visit the markets to ensure a strong adherence to the brand guidelines.
  • Manage contracts and agreements with brands and retailers.
  • Work closely with different stakeholders in the organization to drive category growth and ensure a strong brand / boat benefit.
  • Lead negotiations and discussions with retailers to ensure best in class to your brand and consumer experience in their stores.
  • Work closely with the brands to define the needed strategy and tactics to drive your standalones performance and results.
  • Work on evaluating the portfolio’s performance and define steps towards pushing brands forward.

What you’ll need to succeed  

  • Experience managing a portfolio of brands in Beauty Retail and Distribution 
  • Strong marketing and commercial acumen
  • Agile mindset and the ability to navigate complexity and multiple stakeholders 
  • Strong negotiation skills coupled with emotional intelligence
  • Highly organized and flexible 
  • An understand of the digital space and omnichannel business
