We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Head Stylist to join our team at Wear That. This role focuses on delivering exceptional, personalized styling experiences to our high-value clients. As a Head Stylist, you will manage a substantial client book, meet and exceed revenue targets, and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. Additionally, you will play a key role in running and managing a small team, contributing to the overall success of our styling business.

What you will be doing 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a diverse and high-value client base, ensuring a personalized and engaging styling experience.
  • Manage and grow a significant client book, proactively engaging with clients to understand their evolving needs and preferences.
  • Conduct one-on-one styling sessions, both in-person and virtually, tailoring each session to the client’s unique style, body type, and lifestyle.
    Revenue Generation:
  • Consistently achieve and exceed individual revenue targets through effective client management, upselling, and cross-selling.
  • Leverage your styling expertise to curate and recommend personalized style boxes and fashion pieces that resonate with clients.
  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to drive engagement, promote new collections, and increase client retention.
    Customer Satisfaction:
  • Deliver an outstanding level of customer service by ensuring all client styling needs are met, resulting in high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Actively gather and analyze client feedback to refine and enhance the styling experience, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Address and resolve client concerns or issues promptly, maintaining a seamless and enjoyable experience.
    Styling Expertise:
  • Stay at the forefront of fashion trends, ensuring your recommendations are both timely and relevant to each client’s needs.
  • Create innovative styling solutions that enhance your clients’ wardrobes, incorporating their personal style with the latest fashion trends.
  • Provide expert guidance on wardrobe building, outfit coordination, and occasion-specific styling, tailored to each client’s lifestyle.
    Team Management:
  • Lead and manage a small team of junior stylists, providing guidance, mentoring, and support to help them develop their skills and achieve their targets.
  • Ensure that the team delivers consistent, high-quality styling services that align with the company’s standards and values.
  • Contribute to the overall business operations by managing team schedules, setting goals, and monitoring performance to drive collective success.
    Performance Metrics & Reporting:
  • Meet or exceed key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales conversion rate, average transaction value (ATV), units per transaction (UPT), and customer satisfaction scores.
  • Regularly report on performance metrics, client feedback, and revenue targets to the Director of Styling.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance your styling expertise and sales acumen.

What you’ll need to succeed  

  • Minimum of 5 years experience as a personal stylist or retail store management experience with a proven track record of managing a significant client book and achieving revenue targets.
  • Experience in leading and managing a small team or business, with a focus on achieving collective goals and driving performance.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive sales and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction in a client-facing role.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients and team members.
  • Exceptional fashion sense and deep styling expertise, with the ability to translate trends into personalized recommendations.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients, team members, and styling sessions simultaneously.
  • Highly goal-oriented, with a strong drive to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Client-focused with a passion for delivering exceptional service and building long-term client relationships.
  • A natural leader with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve their best.
