Position Overview:
The ideal candidate should have at least 2 years of experience in inspecting a range of equipment, including tower cranes, loose lifting gears, overhead cranes, baskets, forklifts, gantry cranes, cradles, gangways, accommodation ladders, hoists, trolleys, winches, containers, skips, and mobile cranes. Experience with load testing and certification of lifting equipment across various locations in the UAE.
Qualifications: Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Preferred Skills:
o Exposure to Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques
o Strong knowledge of ISO 17020 & ISO 17024 standards
o Proficiency in using inspection and testing equipment
o Familiarity with safety and regulatory standards in lifting equipment
o Experience with load testing procedures
o Competence in using AutoCAD or similar design software
o Ability to perform detailed analysis and report findings.
• Requirements:
o Ability to interpret technical drawings
o Willingness to travel
o Ability to work effectively in field conditions
o Good communication and teamwork skills
o LEEA certification is a plus
o Preferably with UAE driving license
o Proficient in MS Office
