Manager-Distribution & OTA – flynas

Job Purpose

Responsible for overseeing and managing the airline’s relationships with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), Online Travel Agencies (OTAs), and travel aggregators. This role focuses on expanding the airline’s reach to a broad customer base, optimizing revenue, and enhancing the customer booking experience through indirect distribution channels. The Manager will strategically develop and implement distribution plans to maximize sales of flights and ancillary services, ensuring alignment with the airline’s low-cost model and overall business objectives.

• Establishing and maintaining effective relationships and collaborations with GDS providers, online aggregators, and online travel agencies B2B/C/E.
•  Negotiating and managing contracts with GDS providers and OTAs to ensure favorable terms and conditions.
• Optimizing inventory and fare management to maximize revenue and achieve competitive pricing.
• Analyzing performance metrics and implementing strategies to enhance revenue and improve overall performance including L2B ratio.
• Managing and updating content across GDS and OTA channels to provide accurate and appealing information to customers.
• Ensuring smooth system integration and providing technical support for GDS and OTA platforms.
• Providing training and support to internal teams, fostering collaboration to maximize GDS and OTA utilization.
• Ensuring compliance with contractual obligations, distribution rules, and fare filing requirements.
• Coordinating and aligning with stakeholders, both internal and external, to optimize distribution strategies and achieve business goals.
• Support Sales and Business Development. 
• Fulfill Operations and Logistics.
• Planning and coordinating the logistics and supply chain activities. 
• Enhance Customer Service for GDS & OTAs. 
• Guide CSU through GDS & OTA in responding to GDS & OTA customer inquiries and resolving complaints.
• Coordinating with the Finance and Accounting departments to ensure costs are kept at a reasonable level.
• Set guiding policy for GDS & improve OTA guidelines.
