Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team and play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of DevOps practices, cloud platforms, and automation tools to optimize the software development lifecycle and ensure high availability and scalability of production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle
- Ensure high availability and reliability of production environments
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Ansible
- Collaborate with development teams to optimize application performance and scalability
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions
- Ensure security best practices are followed across infrastructure and applications
- Write and maintain documentation for infrastructure and deployment processes, including edge computing
- Mentor the team and explain DevOps concepts, best practices, and edge computing principles to team members
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies
Requirements:
- Proven work experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI)
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef)
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (e.g. Grafana, ELK stack)
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of database administration and optimization
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
