ROLE PURPOSE
The Director of Sales and Business Development is responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that will drive revenue growth and market share for the organization. They will lead a team of sales professionals and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Lead and manage a team of sales professionals, providing coaching and mentorship to drive performance and growth.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, understanding their business needs and providing solutions that align with the organization’s strategy.
- Monitor and report on sales performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve revenue growth and market share objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, prospecting, and relationship building.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of solutions to clients.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices and apply them to the organization’s sales strategy.
- Perform any other tasks or responsibilities assigned by the manager as needed, to adapt to business requirements and organizational changes.
