Communications Freelancer (consultancy) – Amman, Jordan – Anera

The objective of this role is to enhance the visibility and public understanding of Anera’s mission, activities, and impacts in Jordan through effective communication strategies and tools.

Scope of Work

The incumbent will be responsible for developing and implementing Jordan’s communications strategies in coordination with the Communications Manager. The tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Conducts in-person interviews and site visits to depict human and impact stories 
• Implements the communication strategy aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives.
• Identifies key messages, target audiences for different communication channels.
• Produces high-quality written content for various platforms, including press releases, impact narratives, and social media posts.
• Develops multimedia content such as videos, infographics, and photos.
• Reports on projects activities and their impact.

Duration and Location

• This role will initially be assignment-based with the possibility of evolving into a full-time role based on performance, funding and need.
• Candidate must be based in Amman, Jordan. 

Deliverables 

• A minimum of three products (written story, video, impact article, photos) per month covering various projects.
