We seek a results-driven Commercial Specialist Lead with a strategic mindset and a passion for driving business growth. This pivotal role is ideal for someone skilled in developing and executing commercial strategies, building strong client relationships, and identifying new business opportunities. Main Duties

 

Contract & Risk Management:

 

• Oversee the lifecycle of All contracts, from pre-contract negotiations to post-contract management and renewal.

• Ensure all contracts are compliant with legal, financial, and regulatory requirements.

• Negotiate commercial terms with clients and subcontractors to secure favorable terms for the company.

• Collaborate with the legal team to review and draft contracts, agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs).

• Monitor contract performance, ensuring service levels are met and addressing any non-compliance issues.

• Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with commercial contracts and TFM operations.

• Develop contingency plans to address potential risks in service delivery, contractual disputes, or financial issues.

 

Dispute Resolution and Claims Management:

 

• Handle any commercial disputes or claims that arise during the execution of contracts.

• Engage with clients and subcontractors to resolve disputes amicably, avoiding escalation wherever possible.

• Work with the legal team to manage claims, ensuring the company’s interests are protected.

 

Pricing and Bid Support:

 

• Provide commercial expertise to support the bid team in preparing proposals for new business.

• Work with the bid team to develop pricing strategies for new tenders and contracts, ensuring competitive yet profitable pricing.

• Provide commercial input and risk assessments for all bids, ensuring alignment with financial goals.

• Review financial models for new contracts and assist with pricing adjustments during contract negotiations.

• Review and approve tender submissions before they are presented to clients.

 

Performance Monitoring and Reporting:

 

• Regularly review the performance of contracts against key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure service delivery meets client expectations.

• Prepare and present commercial reports to senior management, highlighting financial performance, risks, and opportunities.

• Track profit margins, revenue, and cost control measures, providing recommendations for improvement.
