Overview of the role

<li>Utilize effective coaching to develop team members’ skills, knowledge, and behaviors.</li>
<li>Ensure every team member has a regularly updated personal development plan.</li>
<li>Establish SMART objectives for team members to drive continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Create and maintain a succession plan to optimize talent within the area.</li>
<li>Recruit, select, and train Store Managers to enhance performance and management capabilities.</li>
<li>Model company values and inspire the retail team through motivation, open communication, and regular training.</li>
<li>Provide coaching and guidance to stores to achieve operational excellence.</li>
<li>Foster employee engagement within the region to improve productivity and retention rates.</li>
</ul>

Customer

<li>Equip stores with the necessary skills and attitude to consistently exceed customer expectations.</li>
<li>Build and promote cross-functional relationships and communication at all levels.</li>
<li>Lead the area team in executing customer-focused initiatives.</li>
<li>Ensure consistent adoption of the company sales process across all stores and address gaps proactively.</li>
</ul>

Business Development / Driving Existing Business

<li>Collaborate with Store Managers to develop and implement business plans for stores and the area.</li>
<li>Analyze profit and loss accounts to identify and implement improvement opportunities.</li>
<li>Leverage local community connections to enhance performance and engagement.</li>
<li>Stay informed about market trends and utilize insights to capitalize on opportunities.</li>
<li>Develop relationships with field and Central Operations teams to support stores in achieving objectives.</li>
<li>Drive area and store performance daily, ensuring KPIs are met.</li>
<li>Maintain merchandising standards across all stores to meet company expectations.</li>
</ul>

Finance

<ul style=”margin-bottom:3.0px”>
<li>Manage area budgets effectively and responsibly.</li>
<li>Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements, including Health and Safety.</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional store standards and disciplines across the region.</li>
<li>Manage administrative tasks within the team efficiently.</li>
<li>Plan journeys to facilitate frequent, productive store visits.</li>
<li>Lead investigations into audit, security, stock management, and employee relations issues as needed.</li>
</ul>

Required Skills to be successful

Ability to demonstrate critical thinking and problem-solving skills as well as good organizational, management and communication, and sales skills.

<li>Strong proficiency in English.</li>
<li>Strong People management/ Leadership skills</li>
<li>Proven ability to manage similar business volumes.</li>
