What you’ll be doing  

Our Supply Chain Specialist will be entrusted and empowered to transform our Supply Chain organization in our journey to becoming a highly customer centric and cost-efficient company. You will work closely with the Head of Operations, his direct reports & business leaders, and cross functionally with other leaders across the organization. To be successful, you should have the skills and experience to navigate around the different complexities and nuances of our various business segments. You should be very comfortable leveraging Supply Chain Management systems to routinely handle large volumes of data and you will develop systematic and robust technology-based solutions to routinely manage our KPIs. This role will suit someone who can influence without authority, someone who loves solving big Supply Chain problems, is intellectually curious, can get things done working cross functionally, can work with little direction, is experienced in leading within complex and nuanced business, all whilst not being overwhelmed by scale and speed.

Key Responsibilities

• You will be responsible for Sales Forecasting, Demand Planning and Inventory Management & Fulfilment
• Develop and implement an effective S&OP process
• Responsible for managing suppliers and logistics service providers according to agreed SLAs
• Develop, measure and continuously improve our key Supply Chain Planning KPIs
• Develop analytical solutions to improve Supply Chain metrics while accelerating to take decisions on commercial planning; increase efficiency while optimization on cost structure of Supply Chain
• Develop customer analytics and predictive models for improve forecast quality
• Develop and roll-out supply planning and replenishment techniques regarding stock parameters and communicate results to relevant team members
• Book orders through our system and liaise with the different logistics departments in the Group and customers for the order fulfilment
• Partner with Group Logistics to manage the transportation including optimising fleets, maintaining a distribution network, challenging selected methods of transportation
• Alert on supply constraints which are business critical and propose remedial action
• Manage the specification and agreement of KPIs and SLAs with key suppliers
• Ensure the Supply Planning KPIs targets are met in term of Stock cover, stock availability, stock quality and Supply Chain costs
• Define targets of stock depletions to meet the stock landing and healthiness targets
• Own the stock equation of your scope to anticipate the monthly stock evolution taking into consideration all the business inputs

 

What you’ll need to succeed  

At least 5 years’ experience in demand and supply planning. Out of which at least 2 years in New Product Launch planning. 

Must have experience in leading a demand and supply planning function in the luxury beauty industry with a focus on retail and e-commerce channels

A Master’s degree in Supply Chain or Industrial Engineering or a related principle

Excellent analytical skills – Excel, Lookr, Oracle etc.
