Job Responsibilities
• Lead and manage cross-functional teams to identify, document, and analyze complex business requirements and processes, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives and Agile methodologies.
• Oversee the development and execution of strategic business solutions, guiding end-to-end software development efforts to enhance the company’s retail operations, with a strong focus on Agile frameworks.
• Direct and manage comprehensive data analysis initiatives, supporting high-level decision-making processes related to sales trends, customer behavior, and inventory management, while integrating Agile software development practices.
• Drive the creation and approval of business cases and projects that support the implementation of innovative retail initiatives, leveraging in-depth knowledge of retail best practices, industry benchmarks, and Agile principles.
• Act as the primary liaison between senior business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring the seamless translation of complex business needs into scalable Agile software solutions
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations based on extensive market research, competitive analysis, and industry trends to inform and shape the company’s retail strategy, with a focus on Agile methodologies
• Mentor, coach, and lead a team of business analysts, fostering a dynamic and collaborative work environment that embraces continuous improvement and Agile principles.
• Exhibit exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration between business and technical teams, and ensuring alignment with organizational goals and Agile practices
• Demonstrate a proven track record of managing and implementing successful business initiatives within a retail environment, with an emphasis on Agile and end-to-end software development methodologies
• Maintain and expand knowledge of retail technologies, including POS systems and e-commerce platforms, with a strong focus on leveraging Agile software development.
• Experience with Magento or similar e-commerce platforms is a strong advantage
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), Agile, or similar managerial credentials are highly desirable
• Continuously monitor and stay updated with retail industry best practices and advancements, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders to drive innovation and operational excellence
