Junior Interior Designer – Twyst Design Services LLC

We are seeking a Junior Interior Designer to join our team. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive, with strong design and coordination skills. This role involves supporting the team in design development, procurement, and project execution while ensuring smooth communication and workflow.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in creating mood boards and concept presentations.
• Conduct research on new materials, finishes, and suppliers.
• Visit showrooms and new shops to stay updated on industry trends.
• Work with AutoCAD and 3D software to support design development.
• Review 2D drawings, provide detailed comments, and follow up on revisions.
• Ensure design deadlines are met and taken seriously.
• Effectively communicate design changes and revisions to the team.
• Participate in space planning for residential and commercial projects.
• Attend supplier meetings and coordinate material selections.
• Assist in curating and managing shopping lists for projects.
• Handle procurement and delivery management, ensuring timelines are met.
• Conduct quality control checks on ready-made furniture and accessories.
• Work on-site, supporting project execution and installations.
• Be flexible to drive and visit project sites as needed.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, suppliers, and team members.
• Manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks at once.
• Collaborate with the team in a structured and organized manner.
• Be presentable, professional, and articulate in English.

Requirements:
• 1-3 years of experience in the UAE interior design industry.
• Strong skills in AutoCAD and 3D rendering software (e.g., SketchUp, 3ds Max, or similar).
• Experience working on both residential and commercial projects.
• Background in space planning, procurement, and supplier coordination.
