Overview of the role:

AFRE -FM manages the properties owned by AF-Real Estate across Residential, Malls and Mixed-use portfolio. This position is for an experienced Project Manager to execute Enhancement and life cycle based replacement projects identified across these properties annually to ensure quality and accountability.

<ul>
<li>The average annual project value is circa AED.30 million.</li>
<li>To assume responsibility and ensure effective and efficient delivery of Capex & enhancement projects across the AFRE Asset Management Portfolio </li>
<li>To ensure proper Testing and commissioning and seamless handover of projects from Development teams to Operations team.</li>
</ul>

What you will do:

<ul>
<li>Project Management</li>
<li>New Asset Handover Management.</li>
<li>Supply Chain Management.</li>
<li>Service Standards.</li>
<li>Coordination : Co-ordination with Local Authorities: Coordinate with DEWA, RSB, Civil Defence, and Dubai Municipality as required, Coordination with Stakeholders from Operations: to ensure projects are executed and delivered according to their requirements </li>
<li>Reporting</li>
<li>Cost Management.</li>
</ul>

Required skills to be successful:

<ul>
<li>Working Knowledge of HVAC, Plumbing and FLS design criteria and installations.</li>
<li>Working Knowledge of Electrical & ELV systems design and installations. </li>
<li>Functional Knowledge of Basic civil works & Interior fitouts </li>
<li>Conversant with Construction standards like ASHRAE, BSRIA, SMACNA, DW144, Plumbing Guides, NFPA and LPCB, DEWA and DM building codes </li>
<li>Authority approvals from DEWA/DCD/ Municipality/ SIRA etc</li>
<li>Preparation of Tender documents and budgetary Estimation for MEP & civil enhancement projects, </li>
<li>Good knowledge of local market & suppliers for procurement of key deliverables.</li>
<li>Working knowledge of Primavera / MS Projects and other planning software </li>
<li>Working Knowledge & proven track record of Project Contract management (preferably PMP certified)</li>
</ul>

What Equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

<li>University Graduate in electrical or Mechanical discipline. </li>
</ul>

Minimum Experience: 
• 10-15 years’ relevant experience in electrical or Mechanical services and in Construction Project management
