Job Summary:

As a Shop Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of the retail store. Your responsibilities will include assisting customers, maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the shop, restocking shelves, and processing transactions accurately. You will work closely with the store manager and other team members to provide exceptional customer service and contribute to the overall success of the business.

Responsibilities:

1. Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them in finding products or answering their questions.

2. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including shelves, displays, and checkout areas.

3. Restock merchandise on shelves and ensure products are correctly labeled with prices.

4. Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using the point-of-sale (POS) system.

5. Assist with inventory management by conducting regular stock checks and informing the manager of any discrepancies.

6. Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly and courteously.

7. Assist in receiving and unpacking merchandise shipments, checking for accuracy and quality.

8. Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers.

9. Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and ensure customer satisfaction.

10. Follow all safety and security procedures to minimize risks and ensure a safe shopping environment for customers and staff.

Salary :1,800.00 to 2,400.00 depending upon experience.
