Job Summary:
As a Recreation Lifeguard, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety of patrons at the recreation facility’s pool or waterfront area. You will be required to actively scan the water, enforce safety rules, respond to emergencies, and provide a high level of customer service.

Job Responsibility:
1. Supervise swimmers and ensure their safety at all times.
2. Enforce pool rules and regulations to maintain a safe and orderly environment.
3. Respond quickly and effectively to emergencies, including performing water rescues.
4. Provide excellent customer service by assisting patrons, answering questions, and addressing concerns.
5. Maintain a clean and organized pool area.
6. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking chlorine levels and cleaning pool filters.
7. Assist in organizing and leading swim lessons and other water-related activities.

Candidate Requirements:
1. Valid lifeguard certification from a recognized organization.
2. Strong swimming skills and knowledge of water safety practices.
3. Ability to remain calm and focused in emergency situations.
4. Excellent communication and customer service skills.
5. Physical fitness and the ability to perform rescues and assist with moving heavy equipment.
6. Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
7. Prior experience as a lifeguard is preferred.
