Set Lighting Technician – Event Makers

Event Makers is looking for experienced and creative Lighting Technicians to join our team. This is an exciting and challenging role, which will involve the maintenance, design, and operation of lighting equipment and systems. You will be responsible for the quality and functionality of the audio, lighting, and video lighting equipment used in events, concerts, and other live productions, as well as for the design and delivery of creative lighting solutions. You must have a passion for music, knowledge of current technologies, and a keen eye for detail. Job Responsibilities

• Perform creative and comprehensive lighting programming for customers, integrating conventional, moving lights and LED fixtures for sets and performances.
• Operate various lighting platforms
• Set up, program, and troubleshoot a variety of moving lights, LEDs, and conventional fixtures.
• Prepare lighting systems, transport, set up, operate, and tear down for all events assigned
• Work in a warehouse environment to prepare all equipment per Operation Manager’s specifications
• Advise the production team on the best technical solutions for lighting needs.
• Work with other technicians to ensure sound and lighting systems are properly synchronized.
• Execute live sound and lighting mixes for various events.
• Ensure all equipment is set up, tested, and operating correctly.
• Ensure safety protocols for sound and lighting systems are followed.
• Provide technical support for lighting systems before, during, and after events.
• Keep up-to-date with the latest lighting technologies.
• Load and unload equipment for events
