MEP company, based in Oman, is currently searching for skilled individuals to join our dynamic team.
- Design and Engineering: Collaborate with the design team to develop MEP system designs that meet project requirements, considering factors such as energy efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
- Estimation and BOQs: Prepare detailed estimates and bills of quantities (BOQs) for MEP systems based on project specifications, drawings, and industry best practices. Provide accurate cost projections and assist in budget planning.
- Quantity Surveying: Perform quantity takeoffs, measurements, and cost analysis for MEP systems. Review and validate supplier and subcontractor quotes, invoices, and progress claims to ensure accuracy and compliance with contract requirements.
- Quality Assurance/Quality Control: Develop and implement QA/QC processes and procedures specific to MEP systems. Conduct regular inspections and quality checks on MEP installations to ensure compliance with design documents, specifications, and industry standards. Identify and resolve any non-conformities or quality issues promptly.
- Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and maintain accurate documentation, including technical reports, drawings, specifications, BOQs, quantity surveying reports, and project records. Ensure timely and thorough reporting of QA/QC activities.
- Collaboration and Coordination: Liaise and coordinate with architects, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of MEP design, estimation, BOQs, QS, and QA/QC activities. Resolve any technical queries or issues promptly.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes related to MEP systems, design, estimation, BOQs, QS, and QA/QC. Recommend innovative solutions and process improvements to enhance project efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and quality.
