Job Summary:The Laundry Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the operations of the laundry department. They ensure that all laundry processes are conducted efficiently and accurately, and that all customer orders are on time.Job Responsibility:- Supervise and manage the daily operations of the laundry department, including sorting, washing, drying, ironing, and folding.- Assign duties and responsibilities to laundry staff, ensuring proper delegation and smooth workflow.- Train new laundry staff on the correct usage of laundry equipment and procedures.- Inspect laundry items to ensure that they meet quality standards and are free from any damages or stains.- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies, placing orders as needed.- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and requests, ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction.- Establish and enforce health and safety protocols to ensure a clean and hazard-free working environment.- Conduct regular quality checks to ensure the laundry department operates in accordance with established standards.- Prepare reports and maintain accurate records of laundry operations, including productivity, stock levels, and maintenance.Candidate Requirements:- High school diploma equivalentven experience in a supervisory role within a laundry or housekeeping department.- In-depth knowledge of laundry machinery, equipment, and detergents.- Strong organizational and time management skills.- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate a team.- Attention to detail and the ability to maintain high-quality standards.- Ability to handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to laundry operations.- Flexibility to work in shifts, including weekends and holidays.- Physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and carry laundry items for extended periods.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.Job Details
