Job Summary:The Assistant Security Manager at Onyx Arjaan and Residences by Rotana in Manama, Bahrain will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the hotel, its guests, staff, and assets. This role requires a strong understanding of security procedures, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and guests. Responsibilities:- Assist the Security Manager in developing and implementing security policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure a safe and secure environment.- Conduct regular patrols of the hotel premises to identify and address potential security risks.- Monitor CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect and prevent unauthorized access or suspicious activities.- Coordinate with local law enforcement agencies and emergency services in case of incidents or emergencies.- Train and educate hotel staff on security protocols and procedures to maintain high levels of security.- Conduct investigations into security incidents, document findings, and recommend corrective measures.- Conduct regular security drills and exercises to test the effectiveness of security procedures and ensure staff preparedness.- Stay updated with the latest trends, technology, and best practices continuously regarding the hotel’s security measures.- Assist in conducting audits and inspections to ensure compliance with internal and external security regulations.- Handle guest complaints and resolve security-related issues in a timely and professional manner.Candidate Requirements:- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a security management role, preferably in the hospitality industry.- Strong knowledge of security systems, procedures, and protocols.- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to identify and address potential security risks.- communication and interpersonal skills effectively with team members and guests.- to remain calm and composed in high-stress situations.- Strong problem-solving decision.- Proficient in using security-related software and technology.- Physical fitness and ability to handle physically demanding tasks.- Relevant security certifications or training is a plus.Job Details
