Job Summary:The Assistant Housekeeping Manager at Onyx Arjaan and Residences by Rotana will be responsible for assisting the Housekeeping Manager in overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of the property. They will ensure that all rooms and public areas are maintained to the highest standards and that guest satisfaction is achieved through the management of the housekeeping team.Job Responsibilities:- Assisting the Housekeeping Manager in all aspects of department operations, including staffing, training, and scheduling.- Inspecting rooms and public areas to ensure cleanliness and compliance with company standards.- Identifying and addressing maintenance needs and coordinating with the engineering department when necessary.- Managing the housekeeping supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.- Handling guest requests and complaints in a timely and efficient manner.- Training and developing the housekeeping team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge perform duties effectively.- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and hotel policies.- Collaborating with other departments, such as Front Office and Engineering, to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.Candidate Requirements:- Previous experience in a housekeeping supervisory or managerial role within the hospitality industry.- Strong leadership and communication skills.- Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, procedures, and health and safety regulations.- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.- Proficiency in using housekeeping management software is desirable.- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as per business needs.- A positive attitude and a passion for delivering exceptional guest service.Job Details
