Job Summary:

A Senior Data Modeler will be responsible for designing and implementing data models that supports the customer organization’s data-driven initiatives. He/She will collaborate closely with data engineers, data architects, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements, analyze data sources, and create effective and efficient data models. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in data modeling, possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, and be proficient in SQL and data modeling tools. He/She will be instrumental in shaping the data infrastructure and ensuring integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our data assets.

Responsibilities:

1. Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data requirements and translate them into logical and physical data models.
2. Analyze existing data sources and identify opportunities for data integration, consolidation, and standardization.
3. Design and develop data models using industry best practices, ensuring scalability, performance, and maintainability.
4. Implement data modeling standards and guidelines to ensure consistency and quality across the organization.
5. Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues and recommend data cleansing and enrichment strategies.
6. Collaborate with data engineers and architects to ensure seamless integration of data models into the overall data architecture.
7. Validate and optimize data models to ensure efficient data retrieval, storage, and processing.
8. Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in data modeling techniques and tools.
9. Mentor and provide guidance to junior data modelers, fostering a collaborative and learning-oriented environment.
