The Head of Tyre Division and Business Development will be responsible for handling a brand in the top 10 world ranking for 2023. The responsibilities include Commercial product planning, product marketing, collections, budgeting, strategic business development as well as gathering & prioritizing product and customer requirements to ensure the company’s goals, objectives, vision, and strategies are met. Manager possesses a unique blend of business and technical savvy, with a big-picture vision and the drive to make the vision a reality.

Other responsibilities include but not limited to:

Responsibilities:

– Contributes to the strategic vision for Commercial tyres product lines.

– Expert in Commercial product category, including product management, sales, profit analysis, market pricing, and competitor analyses

– Responsible for overall Commercial product category strategies to assure execution from start to finish

– Oversee the overall profitability strategy for Commercial tyres product lines

– Define and follow product strategies, roadmaps, and product lifecycles

– Ensure pending payments are maintained at an agreed minimum level

– Ensure payment collections are within due dates

– Ensure deliveries are made at the appropriate

– Preparing operational budget in line with the companies goals & objective

– Be a leader within the company by demonstrating excellent project management skills

– Engage and develop business with key Commercial dealers

– Work with business research and conduct field research to monitor & experience commercial vehicle trends and discover & propose new products lines, services, and ideas.

– Specify market requirements for current and future products by conducting market research supported by ongoing visits to customers and prospects, along with competitive benchmarking

– Develop and write a business development plan for the company that includes details of products and services, product costs, the forecast for sales, price ranges, and profitability

– Develop and implement a creative go-to-market plan with sales, marketing, and pricing with measurable KPIs and execution gates

– Closely monitor the promotion and the sales of products

– Monitor and advise Commercial tire production orders and inventory management

– Monitor and investigate warranty analyses

– Innovate upon existing products with newer versions

– With respect to competitors, understand their product portfolios, lifecycles, weaknesses & strengths

– Work with sales/marketing to gain feedback from potential and current customers to keep high-quality products, increase sales and market shares

– Develop a budget for new product developments and testing

– Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

– Bachelor’s degree in sales and marketing, business management or related fields.

– Additional certification in sales management and promotion tactics or related certifications

– At least five years’ experience in a similar role

– Motivational and target driven

– Ability to set sales targets and achieve them effectively

– Excellent interpersonal, customer service and communication skills

– Ability to design and implement a successful sales strategy

– Ability to guide and mentor sales representatives

– Advanced time management skills
