Job Summary:We are looking for a Banquet Supervisor to join our team at Onyx Arjaan and Residences Rotana in Bahrain. The Banquet Supervisor will oversee all aspects of banquet operations, ensuring the smooth execution of events such as weddings, conferences, and other social and corporate functions. The ideal candidate will have strong, excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen attention to detail. Responsibilities:- Supervise banquet staff and ensure that they are properly trained and motivated to provide exceptional service to guests- Coordinate with the banquet sales team and event planners to understand client requirements and ensure that all details are executed flawlessly- Oversee the setup of rooms including arranging tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, and any other necessary items- Ensure that the banquet service follows a smooth flow, from the welcome of guests to their departure- Monitor the quality of food and beverage service, ensuring that it meets the highest standards of presentation and taste- Handle any guest complaints or special requests in a prompt and professional manner- Maintain a thorough knowledge of the banquet menu and beverage options, and provide guidance to guests as needed- Assist with the development and implementation of standard operating procedures to streamline banquet operations and improve efficiency- Conduct regular inspections of banquet rooms and equipment to ensure cleanliness and functionality- Monitor banquet expenses and maintain inventory of banquet suppliesCandidate Requirements:- Proven experience as a Banquet Supervisor or in a similar role within the hospitality industry- Strong leadership and communication skills- Excellent customer service skills, with focus on exceeding guest expectations- Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously- to detail and strong organizational skills Knowledge and beverage service techniques and best practices-clarity with event planning and execution- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required- Proficiency in English; knowledge of other languages is a plus- Knowledge of relevant computer applications, such as MS Office and banquet management systems.Job Details
