Job Description:
Join our team as a School Bus Assistant and play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and well-being of students during transportation. We are seeking a responsible and caring individual to join our school community.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist students during boarding and exiting the school bus
Ensure students are seated and secured safely during transit
Maintain order and discipline on the school bus
Communicate effectively with students, parents, and the bus driver
Assist in the implementation of safety procedures and emergency drills
Report any incidents, behavioral concerns, or issues to the appropriate authorities
Collaborate with the bus driver to address student needs
Conduct regular checks to ensure the cleanliness and safety of the bus
Attend training sessions and meetings as required
Requirements:
Previous experience working with children is preferred
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage student behavior in a positive manner
Patience and the ability to handle unexpected situations
Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate school hours
High school diploma or equivalent
