Duties and Responsibilities
- Assess the physiotherapy requirements of individual patients and in conjunction with the Senior Physiotherapist plan programs of treatment.
- Implement plan of treatment using skilled techniques, referring to Senior Physiotherapist when necessary.
- Supervise and monitor the performance of Physiotherapy Technicians, Aides and students.
- Provide written reports and notes regarding clinical findings for individual patients; maintain progress reports on patients; and provide information for input into program information.
- Maintain knowledge of current developments and new techniques within physiotherapy.
- Maintain good communication and working relationships with other physiotherapy staff, medical and nursing staff, and other relevant disciplines.
- Take an active part in all areas, on-call ,as and when required
- Perform other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee’s knowledge, skills and abilities.
