Laboratory Technician – BUTEC S.A.L.

Qualifications:

1. Fresh Graduate with a BA degree in Biology, Chemistry or Biochemistry.
2. Knowledge of laboratory equipment and instruments, hazards and safety precautions relating to using chemicals; performing tests on potentially hazardous substances; Microsoft Office.
3. Skill in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with other staff and the public; effectively communicating both orally and in writing; recordkeeping; preparing variety of reports; understanding and using chemical and mathematical equations and calculations; following complex oral and written instructions, procedures, and guidelines; operating and maintaining standard laboratory equipment, automatic samplers and instruments.
4. Completion of technical education or training directly related to water and wastewater analysis is required.
5. Experience in performing analytical tests in a laboratory is preferred but experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.
