Overview of the role:

<ul>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Perform the operation, installation, maintenance and repair of manual, semi-automatic and automatic irrigation systems. </li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Install, maintain, and repair drainage system. </li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Carry out manual irrigation whenever needed.</li>
<li>Adjust irrigation schedules based on the type of landscaping & seasons.</li>
<li>Maintain, monitor & repair irrigation pumping system and filters</li>
</ul>

What you will do:

Responsible for:

<ul style=”margin-bottom:13.0px”>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Review irrigation programmes and make appropriate adjustments. </li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Monitor irrigation network and systems to ensure proper functioning as per the programme.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Repair irrigation system defects. Achieve savings in water consumption. </li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Assist in maintaining parts inventory.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Perform preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance on pump stations. Operate main pumps and pump controllers.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Maintain daily record of water readings.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Check irrigation daily for leaks, and any dry areas.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Support landscape maintenance team whenever needed.</li>
<li style=”text-align:justify”>Carry out irrigation works on landscape improvement projects.</li>
<li>Plan and carry out irrigation network upgrade work in all properties.</li>
</ul>

Job Context:

Al Futtaim Private Assets Facilities Management division is specialized in providing facilities maintenance to its customers. Job holder will play a key role on the following.

What equips you for the role:

Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:

<ul>
<li>Understand issues related to irrigation systems and take corrective actions.</li>
<li>Good knowledge of maintenance & trouble shooting on all irrigation system components such as pumps, filters, controllers, solenoid valve, sprinklers, drip irrigation, sub surface irrigation etc. </li>
<li>Good knowledge and experience on usage of all landscaping tools & equipment.</li>
</ul>

Minimum Expereince:

<ul>
<li>Diploma/ITI/trade certificate (minimum 2 years) preferably plumbing.</li>
<li>Minimum 5 years’ experience managing irrigation pumping systems and networks. </li>
</ul>
