Responsibilities:
Assist with the receiving, storing, and organizing of incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy and completeness of shipments.
Perform inventory counts and stock checks to maintain accurate records of warehouse inventory levels.
Prepare orders for shipment by picking, packing, and labeling products according to company procedures and customer requirements.
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks to move and transport goods within the warehouse.
Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, including shelving units, storage areas, and workspaces.
Assist in conducting regular inspections of warehouse facilities and equipment, reporting any maintenance issues or safety concerns to supervisors.
Collaborate with team members to fulfill customer orders and meet delivery deadlines in a timely and efficient manner.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, injuries, and product damage during warehouse operations.
Adhere to company policies and regulatory requirements regarding product handling, storage, and transportation.
Support other warehouse functions and tasks as needed, including packaging, labeling, and quality control checks.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent qualification required; additional education or training in warehouse operations or logistics preferred.
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution center, or similar environment preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in performing inventory checks, order picking, and packing tasks.
Ability to lift and move heavy objects, stand or walk for extended periods, and perform physical tasks in a warehouse setting.
Proficiency in using warehouse equipment and tools, including forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand-held scanners.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for warehouse operations.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
