. Develop and manage the departmental budget for drilling and workover activities, reservoir development, and exploration, including forecasting, monitoring, and reporting on expenditures.
2. Collaborate with departmental Superintendents and project teams to understand budgetary requirements and constraints for upcoming drilling and workover projects, as well as reservoir development and exploration initiatives.
3. Analyze cost implications of drilling and workover operations, reservoir development, and exploration, identifying areas for cost optimization and efficiency improvement.
4. Monitor and control departmental expenses, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and identifying and addressing any budgetary discrepancies.
5. Prepare regular financial reports, variance analyses, and budget performance assessments for management review, focusing on drilling and workover operations, reservoir development, and exploration activities.
6. Participate in the evaluation and selection of vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines for drilling and workover operations, reservoir development, and exploration projects.
7. Work closely with corporate planning , finance and accounting, and contract departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions related to drilling and workover activities, reservoir development, and exploration initiatives.
8. Support the development of long-term financial plans and strategies for the department, contributing to overall financial forecasting and risk assessment for drilling and workover, reservoir development, and exploration activities.
