- Ensure area of responsibility to be in good housekeeping condition and follow 6S principles.
- Repair and troubleshoot the machines.
- Under the supervision of the senior maintenance foreman assigns appropriates mechanics to various
· Mechanical tasks throughout the plant.
- Monitors the completion of the mechanical preventive maintenance items.
- Controls the rescheduling of uncompleted preventive maintenance.
- Administers the mechanic’s training program, including the evaluation of individual progress.
- Writes the initial performance evaluation on all mechanic.
- personnel and submits same to the senior maintenance foreman.
- Performs mechanical design work, and complex repair work as necessary.
- Completes a work order summary for each completed job.
- Monitors the mechanical spare parts inventory and ensures that an adequate supply is maintained at all.
