Key responsibilities include:
1. Market Research and Strategy:
– Conduct market research to identify potential distributors in target markets.
– Develop a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to each assigned country and its specific business needs.
– Analyse competitor activities and market trends to gain a competitive advantage.
2. Distributor Identification and Engagement:
– Actively seek out and approach potential distributors to introduce the company’s products/services.
– Evaluate and select distributors based on their capacity, expertise, and alignment with the company’s values.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
– Address customer complaints promptly and effectively, finding optimal solutions to maintain customer satisfaction.
– Develop a customer-centric approach, becoming a trusted advisor to distributors and end customers alike.
– Build effective relationships with contractors, consultants, dealers, and other key stakeholders to gain insights into local market dynamics.
4. Sales Support and Training:
– Provide sales expertise and support to appointed distributors to enhance their performance and increase sales.
– Conduct training sessions for distributors to ensure they are well-informed about the company’s products, sales techniques, and value propositions.
5. Attend Trade Events and Exhibitions:
– Represent the company at international exhibitions, tradeshows, and industry-specific events to network with potential distributors and customers.

6. Compliance and Legal Considerations:
– Stay up to date with export regulations, government policies, and legal requirements in each target market.
– Ensure adherence to transportation, labelling, and payment laws for seamless export operations.
– Organize and facilitate the acquisition of licenses and other legal requirements necessary for exporting specific products to different markets.
7. Negotiation and Cost Optimization:
– Negotiate favourable terms, rates, and services with distributors to reduce operating costs and improve profitability.
– Monitor and assess distributor performance regularly to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.
