Job Summary
The main purpose of the role is to deliver outstanding distribution experiences that fascinate shoppers through the presentation and demonstration of our machines. Reporting to the Area Sales Supervisor, our experts are responsible for both sales and experience. In Dyson we say that our products are bought, not sold. That doesn’t mean we don’t sell anything, what is means is that we get to know our customers, we understand their needs, we give a 5 star service and with every purchase we strive to make the customer’s life easier and better.
Specific Tasks & Duties:
• Product knowledge: Have full working knowledge of previous, current and future product range
• Approaching customers in a friendly and conversational manner, go above and beyond
to show them that we care about their experience
• Demonstrating our technology, whilst making complicated terminology simple and easy
to understand
• Deliver the balance between hitting sales and delivering exceptional service
• Drive an audience first approach by enhancing personalisation, “VIP” experiences and
new propositions
• Provide outstanding experiences to establish Dyson as a leader in the technology industry
• Take pride in store standards; make sure the zone is clean and merchandised to Dyson
standards
• Make sure all demonstration products are in working order with the right pricing
• Provide guidance on hair care techniques and supporting items
• Be a proactive learner, about Dyson, engineering, technology and share your experience with other teams members
• Keep track of your own number of demonstrations and sales on daily, weekly, monthly
basis
• Be the brand guardian, ensuring you know what needs to be done and how to do it in the Dyson way
Skills knowledge and experience:
• Previous experience in an assisted sales environment or service led environment
• Previous experience working with / in a premium technology brand
• Good in English preferred & local market language essential
• Track record for creating innovative solutions that solve problems and/or challenge
convention
• Be prepared to hit targets
• Great customer-facing and sales skills, including the ability to adapt your style to the
needs of every customer
• A confident approach and a friendly manner
• Be confident in giving in-depth bespoke consultations to answer every customer’s
questions
