Seeking Experienced Speech Therapist for In-Home Sessions

We are in search of a compassionate and skilled speech therapist to provide in-home therapy for our 7-year-old child, who is on the autism spectrum (currently level 3, progressing towards level 2). The ideal candidate will have experience with children on the spectrum and be able to engage our child through play-based therapy and other effective methods.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct speech therapy sessions at our home 5 days a week.

• Each session should last 2 to 3 hours.

• Develop a personalized therapy plan that includes play and other interactive activities.

• Monitor and record the child’s progress, adjusting techniques as needed.

Requirements:

• Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or equivalent.

• Experience working with children on the autism spectrum, particularly levels 2 and 3.

• Creative approach to therapy with a focus on engaging activities.

• Patience, understanding, and a passion for helping children communicate.
