About the Role

At the Abaya Lab, the Sales Lead role is meant to drive sales growth across the region of operation by leading a team of Sales Experts, managing leads effectively, and ensuring
targets are consistently met. The Sales Lead will be in charge of analyzing sales
data, reviewing and optimizing performance.

Responsibilities 

  • Meet Sales Targets: Drive the sales team to achieve or exceed individual and team sales goals.
  • Lead Management: Oversee tracking and conversion of inbound and outbound leads, ensuring proper follow-up and CRM usage.
  • Team Leadership: Coach and mentor the sales team, setting clear performance expectations and providing development opportunities.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and identifying upselling opportunities.
  • Sales Reporting and Analysis:
    Prepare accurate sales reports, analyze performance data, and provide actionable insights to improve sales strategies.
  • Sales Process Optimization:
    Continuously evaluate and improve sales processes, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.

What you need to succeed

  • Sales Expertise: Proven track record in sales, with a deep understanding of sales strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Leadership Experience: At least 2 years of experience in a sales leadership or management role, with a demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve targets.
  • Lead Management: Strong knowledge of lead generation, tracking, and conversion processes, including experience with CRM systems.
  • Customer Relationship Management:
    Experience in building and maintaining strong customer relationships, with a focus on customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the modest fashion or retail industry is preferred, with an understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior.
  • Experience working in a startup environment, with a flexible and adaptable approach to evolving business needs.
