We are looking for a drafter to work directly with the design team and assist them in translating Lighting Design Concepts into Technical plans and Construction Documents. Responsibilities will include gathering drawings and specifications, preparing design packages ensuring accuracy and compliance with the company’s drafting standards.
Ideal candidates should have a proven experience as a Drafter, proficiency in AutoCAD, familiarity with 3D software, ability to meet deadlines and work with the team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the Design team to translate design concepts into drawings as per company standards.
- Extensively use AutoCAD to create detailed drawings.
- Design diagrams, maps and layouts to illustrate workflow.
- Prepare and review rough sketches, layouts and detail drawings and review them along with the Design and Supervision team.
- Ensure final designs comply with regulations and quality standards.
- Identify potential operational issues and redesign to improve functionality.
- Adjusting and reading existing drawings to the ongoing design process.
