What you’ll be doing
The Strategic Insights team plays an important role within the Strategy function, supporting top management’s decision-making by providing valuable data-driven insights. The role requires a good understanding of the luxury industry and solid analytical skills. For a period of 12 months you will be closely collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders and industry partners to develop comprehensive thought leadership studies that turn research and data into relevant strategic insights for the luxury industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop market and category insights, and benchmark competitive landscapes through research, industry interviews, and market visits
- Conduct market sizing for international and local markets across various verticals, including beauty, fashion, and homeware
- Monitor emerging trends and relevant news in the luxury industry, including strategies of key luxury players, to contextualize our business environment
- Work closely with the Corporate Strategy team and Internal Consulting team to leverage market insights and data in evaluating and supporting key strategic projects, Group initiatives, and ad-hoc management requests
- Bridge the overall Strategy team with the Intelligence and Consumer Research teams to consolidate, analyze, and interpret all relevant information
- Recommend new tools and methodologies for data analysis to enhance efficiency
What you’ll need to succeed
- 3 years of experience in a data-driven or research role within luxury or Trend Foresight or Consumer and Market Insights company focused on the relevance sector
- University degree in Business Administration, Finance, or Luxury Management
- Good knowledge of and interest in the luxury, beauty, and fashion retail industries
- Ability to connect the dots using various data sources, including industry reports, research tools, and companies’ financial reports
- Analytical thinking with the ability to work with complex data from multiple sources (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, Tableau)
- Advanced written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and effectively
- Proactive hands-on mentality, curiosity, and a collaborative team player
